Starting with MC|AM 2023.7, the handling of timecodes around midnight is changed:

Up to MC|AM 2023.3, MC | AM keeps the SMPTE timecode labels in sync with the wall clock.

Starting with MC|AM 2023.7, MC | AM doesn’t keep the SMPTE timecode label in sync with the wall clock. Instead it counts to the last SMPTE timecode label that is below 24 hours and then resets to 00:00:00:00 or 00;00;00;00.
