Register: Download one of the toolkits that you are interested in working with. This will be deposited in your My Avid account with an Evaluation license agreement. To get a license for commercialization, you will need to onboard your App and/or Service to the Avid Marketplace
Get Certified: Commercializing your integration with MediaCentral Cloud | UX requires that you become certified for the toolkit that you are using; once you download a toolkit, you’ll be registered to take the exam at any time. Use My Certifications to find the exams.
Develop: Download the App Creator Tool and Starter Kit to kick off your development. E-mail partners@avid.com to access to sandbox environments and/or product licenses. Submit your public developer key to ensure that your signed app will match with your developer account by logging into your account and look for “Developer Certificates” in the “My Developer Account” section. You will use the form submit your .pem public key. This will allow Avid to match your apps private key with the public key we have on file when you onboard to the marketplace
Test your integration: E-mail partners@avid.com to request a link to download the latest Avid MediaCentral | Cloud UX VM environment or to request access to a fully functional Avid sandbox for your testing. Test results will need to be provided to the Avid certification team when you onboard your product through the Avid Marketplace.
Sell Your Product: Before you can promote your product, Avid will need to review, test and certify it for the Avid Marketplace. To get started, Create your Avid Marketplace seller account. Avid will contact you to discuss the contractual agreement for becoming a seller. Once you are approved as a seller, upload your app or service to your Avid Marketplace seller account. Avid will then review and test your product for certification. Once approved, Avid will publish your app or service to the Avid Marketplace and you will be compensated for each.

Sell Your Product

Register as a Seller on the Avid Marketplace

Before you can promote your product, Avid will need to review, test and certify it for the Avid Marketplace. Get a head start on the process by Creating your Avid Marketplace seller account. Avid will contact you to discuss the contractual agreement for becoming a seller.

Pre-Register your App or Service

Once you are approved as a seller, pre-register your app or service in your Avid Marketplace seller account. This process will create an Application ID and Application Secret. You will need these prior to publishing your App or Service.
