Register as a developer by downloading one of the toolkits that you are interested in working with. This will be deposited in your My Avid account with an Evaluation license agreement. Those interested in creating a commercial integration will need to contact Avid to request a Limited License Agreement to get access to buildable sample code from a private Git.
Get Certified: Avid requires that you become certified for the toolkit that you are using; once you download a toolkit, you’ll be registered to take the exam at any time. Use My Certifications to find the exams.
Develop your commercial integration. We can provide you with a starter kit and access to sandbox environments and/or product licenses Get a Developer Certificate by logging into your account and look for “Developer Certificates” in the “My Developer Account” section. You will use the form to request and receive your certificate. This will be used for code signing with a provided signing tool so that your product will work in a MediaCentral Environment.
Test your integration: Contact us for a link to download the latest Avid MediaCentral | Cloud UX VM environment or to request access to a fully functional Avid sandbox for your testing. Test results will need to be provided to the Avid certification team when you onboard your product through the Avid Marketplace.
Sell Your Product: Before you can promote your product, Avid will need to review, test and certify it for the Avid Marketplace. To get started, Create your Avid Marketplace seller account. Avid will contact you to discuss the contractual agreement for becoming a seller. Once you are approved as a seller, upload your app or service to your Avid Marketplace seller account. Avid will then review and test your product for certification. Once approved, Avid will publish your app or service to the Avid Marketplace and you will be compensated for each.

Once certified, Avid will assign and register the app with an Avid Product ID which will allow it to run in a commercial Avid MediaCentral Cloud UX environment. The App will then be available for customers to purchase exclusively through the to the Avid Marketplace and you will be compensated for each sale via revenue share with Avid.
